1. In Which Locations Do Your Tours Operate?

The majority of our tours operate from Koh Phi Phi which is where we are based, tour packages are also available to book through us in Krabi, Ao-Nang and Railay. We are working closely with local operators to bring our customers tour packages in Phuket.

2. Which Payment Methods and Currencies Do We Accept?

Currently the only method of online payment we accept is through PayPal, they are recognised globally as the safest online payment processor. All prices on our website are listed in our local currency (THB), however when you come to checkout with PayPal you will be able to pay in your home currency. If you are unsure about price conversions between THB to your currency we recommend using www.xe.com for the latest exchange rates. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT YOU CAN SELECT ‘Checkout as Guest’, and enter your card details.

3. How Can I Pay My With Credit or Debit Card?

If you do not hold an account with PayPal you are able to pay with your Credit or Debit card from the PayPal website simply by selecting the option ‘Checkout as Guest’ on the login screen, if you cannot locate this button due to language barriers you will find the option to change the language in the bottom right corner of the PayPal website.

4. Do I Have To Pay Tax When Making a Reservation on Your Website?

 

Yes the rate of tax in Thailand is set at 7% but we don’t like to have hidden fees so we include the value added taxes in our listing price. The price you see is the price you pay.

5. How Far In Advance Should I Make My Reservation?

We accept bookings on our travel routes and tours up to 12 months in advance, and no longer than 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. We suggest to book at least one month in advance to guarantee availability for the dates and service(s) you desire. During our peak season tours do tend to fill up extremely quickly and it is rare you will be able to secure a place on our tours without prior reservations.

6. Where Will My Tour Depart From And When Do I Need To Be There?

The departure location for each tour is clearly listed alongside the product information, this means you are able to check the departure location is suitable for you before you make a reservation. The departure time of each tour is also specified on the product information page, You should be at the check in location at least half an hour before this time. Koh Phi Phi is a small island, there are no cars, bikes, taxi’s or even roads! Therefore it is not possible for a pick-up to be arranged. All our check in locations on the island are easily accessible by foot. It is solely your responsibility to make your way to the check in location.

7. What Should I Bring With Me To Check In?

 

Tours on Koh Phi Phi:

When you are checking in for your tour on Koh Phi Phi all we need from you is your unique booking ID and the name used when making your booking, it’s as simple as that!

 

Tours outside of Koh Phi Phi and Travel Services:

You will need to be carrying a printed/paper copy of your confirmation email in order to check in, unfortunately an electronic copy may not always be accepted.

 

If you are unable to print your ticket, please come to visit us during your stay on Koh Phi Phi and we are able to print you a copy (Free of charge).

8. What Else Should I Bring With Me?

 

Please make sure you are suitably dressed for the service you will be partaking in, and it is always important to bring sunscreen along with you!

9. After Making a Reservation How and When Will I Receive My Ticket?

 

Immediately after making your reservation you will receive an email from us, this only confirms that we have received your payment and also issues you with your unique booking ID. Within 24 hours of making your reservation a second email will be sent confirming your booking has been placed. This confirmation email will then act as your ticket. Emails can only be sent to the email address provided to us during checkout, if you need to change your email address or have not received your confirmation email after 24 hours, please get in contact with us.

10. How Can I Check Availability Of Your Tours?

 

Simply put, if you can book it on our website then we have space available! If you would like to confirm with us before parting with your cash then don’t hesitate to drop us an email or pick up the phone and call us.

11. Can I Make My Reservation Over The Phone Or Via Email?

No, we only accept bookings directly from our website. The only exception to this is if you are making a group booking (Larger than 10 adults).

12. What Ages Do Our Child Tickets Cater To?

 

To keep things simple, no matter which tour or travel package you book with us, ages for children’s tickets are the same across the board. Children’s tickets will cover ages of 3+ until the child’s 12th birthday (3-11 Years). Any guests who are 12 years or older must have an adult ticket to board. Infants under 3 travel free of charge, although we must be contacted in advance to make sure the service you are booking will be suitable for infants.

13. How Many Other Travellers Will Join Us On Our Tour?

While this will depend greatly on which service you have booked and the time of year you are travelling, we try to keep passenger numbers to a minimum. All passenger numbers will be in proportion to the size of the boat being used, all our boats are licensed by the Travel and Tourism authority of Thailand and each boat is licenced to carry a different amount of guests. We will never overcrowd any tour although please be aware that during our peak season it is not unlikely that vessels will be full to licenced numbers, this will be the case with any tour operator on Koh Phi Phi, we do offer private boat charters should you prefer to travel without anyone else but your group on board!

14. Who Are Your Tours Operated By?

 

Our tour and travel services are operated by selected trustworthy partners across Thailand. The operators information can be found alongside each service description.

15. Is It Necessary To Print Out My Confirmation Email For Check In?

 

Yes and No, You will need to have a paper copy of your confirmation email if you are checking in outside of Koh Phi Phi. For any service checking in on Koh Phi Phi a electronic copy on a phone or tablet will be suffice. We are able to print these for you in our office on Koh Phi Phi Don. Your Unique booking ID should be clearly visible when your confirmation email is presented at check in.

16. Do I Need To Stay Overnight To Join Your Koh Phi Phi Tours.

It is possible to join one of our afternoon tours the same day you are traveling although bear in mind that the first ferry to arrive at Koh Phi Phi in the morning is at 10:30am, you should also allow for time to find and check into your accommodation. We do not offer any tours that depart late enough and return early enough to catch a ferry either side, so yes you would have at least one nights stay on the island if you wish to join any of our Koh Phi Phi tours. If you wish to travel to or from Koh Phi Phi outside of the ferry times, we can offer private Speedboat services from any mainland location, contact us via email for more information.

17. If I Miss My Check In Time Can I Move To Another Service or Get My Money Back?

Checking in at the correct time and location is solely down to yourself, we are not able to wait for you to arrive if you are late, and our tours will depart at the advertised time. Each trip needs to be booked in advance and in cases where you miss the check in you will not be entitled to a refund, therefore please ensure that you give yourself plenty of time to reach us and check in with at least 30 minutes to spare. If you are aware that you will not be at the check in location on time and want to travel as soon as is possible please contact us at the earliest opportunity and we can advise you of your next best options and may be able to move you onto a later departure time or date (This will be at our discretion). Finally, don’t panic, there’s always a solution! If we have no contact from you in advance we will not offer a replacement service.  

18. How Much is The National Park Fee, And Do I Need To Pay At Each National Park.

 

The cost of National Park entry is set by the Travel and Tourism Authority of Thailand and is in place to enter protected areas across the country. The prices can fluctuate although the entry fee is normally 400THB. Some of our tours already include this fee in the price, however if your package does not include the fee you will need to pay it upon entry into a National Park. Should you not wish to pay this you are able to wait on the boat during National Park visits. The National Parks in Koh Phi Phi are, Maya Bay & Bamboo Island.

 

If you visit more than one National Park on your tour you will only be charged entry once.

19. What Happens If My Tour Is Cancelled?

 

If we have to cancel:

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your tour, we will offer you a replacement service or if you choose not to accept for any reason you will be eligible to receive a 100% refund from us.

If you choose to cancel:

If you choose to cancel your tour you will be entitled to a 50% refund, minus any transaction fees we incur. You must cancel 14 days before your tour departs, if you cancel less than 14 days before your departure we will not be able to offer any refund.

Please be aware that our tours will still operate in the rain, this will not be a reason we cancel a tour. The only reason we would cancel is if weather conditions are deemed unsafe by ourselves or by the local authorities.

20. What Happens If Part Of My Tour Is Cancelled

 

It is very unlikely that we would ever cancel any stops on our tours, but occasionally we may be unable to visit a certain location or we may have to operate the tour in a different order than advertised. If this is the case customers will be informed of the changes but no refunds will be offered unless you have specifically paid extra for an additional stop. (e.g Glowing Plankton).

21. What’s The Deal With Mosquito Island, and Why Can’t I Visit It?

Mosquito Island or Koh Yung National Park has been closed to anyone visiting for tourism purposes, the closure has been in place since May 2016 and was implicated by the Travel and Tourism Authority of Thailand. The reason behind the closure is to allow the corals surrounding the island to rebuild to a natural state. As of yet no date has been announced to reopen the island. Any tours with an advertised stop at Mosquito Island will instead have a longer stop over at Bamboo Island and Mosquito Island can be viewed only from the boat.

22. Do you have tours to James Bond Island from Koh Phi Phi?

 

Many visitors seem to believe that Koh Phi Phi and James Bond Island are the same place,  and that they will be able to see both on one tour, however this is not the case and the two are actually quite far apart. The distance to James Bond Island from Koh Phi Phi is too great for day tours to be able to run there. While we do offer tours to James Bond Island from Krabi, Railey or Ao-Nang we can not operate these tours from Koh Phi Phi.

23. Can I Bring My Luggage With Me On Your Tours?

No, It is not fair on other guests as we do not have any designated areas to store luggage and will mean there is less space for everybody else. Your property is also not insured by us and is carried at your own risk. Guests are welcome to bring one small day bag each but if you need to carry anything bigger than this you should book a private tour instead.
